Michael Antonio Hunter is a visionary entrepreneur, actor, and photographer whose work spans fashion, entertainment, and business. He has built a multi-faceted brand that encompasses photography, lifestyle products, and strategic brand collaborations.
Born in 1987 in the Bronx, New York, Michael developed an early passion for the visual arts. While attending Baltimore City College Preparatory High School, he explored sketching, illustration, and design. He studied photography for the first time during his first semester at Frostburg State University, though by then, he had already begun his professional career - booking his first notable client, America’s Next Top Model winner and actress Eva Marcille. During his studies, he honed his skills in traditional photography, learning to develop film and process prints in a darkroom.
His photography has since been featured in Vogue Japan, Time Magazine, and on major networks like MTV, BET, and VH1, solidifying his reputation as a leading creative in the industry. His portfolio includes collaborations with a range of public and notable figures from Grammy Award-winning artists like Lil’ Kim to Olympic Gold Medalist Alex Morgan, reflecting the prestige of his clients and the impact of his work.
Beyond the lens, Michael is also a working actor, with roles in HBO’s We Run The City and Amazon Prime’s Slayy. He starred in Dark City: Beneath The Beat, directed by TT The Artist and produced by Issa Rae, which debuted on Netflix.
Michael also serves as Creative Director and leads product development for the high-end jewelry company Nathan & Angel, where he sits on the executive board. Additionally, he is one of the founders of Blac Box Records and serves on its board of directors, helping to develop and support emerging musical talent.
